how can I get flat **** abs?

I just turn 31, two weeks ago I had a surgery so I could not work out. But, starting tomorrow I want to get in gear PUT my mind heart and soul to it and get those **** flat abs. Im 5’8 slender and 133lbs.
Any advised or tips to speed up to process? My dream would be to loose 2 inches around my waist line.
